Celine Hardy Johnson

Manager

Celine Hardy Johnson has been Manager of Jobs Niagara since its inception in 2004.  Her passion, belief and commitment to helping people with disabilities get the respect and opportunities they deserve has led her to playing an integral part in creating the Jobs Niagara program.  She prides herself on making lasting connections between employers needing great employees and great employees needing great employers.  Overall, Celine brings more than 30 years of experience advocating and proving that hiring people with disabilities is not only the right thing to do, it’s also mutually beneficial financially and improves your team’s atmosphere.

Janet Byers

Job Developer / Employment Consultant

Janet joined Jobs Niagara in 2011 after spending 25 years in Toronto as a Corporate Recruiter/Job Developer in the financial, administration and high tech sectors.  She has successfully placed our clients with a wide variety of employers in the Welland, Fonthill, Port Colborne, Niagara Falls, and Fort Erie areas and is a tireless advocate for our clients by promoting and educating employers as to the benefits of hiring individuals with a disability.  Janet is a graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo with a B.A. in English.

Brian Hoover

Job Developer / Employment Consultant

Brian has been a part of the Jobs Niagara Team since 2010.  Brian came to Jobs Niagara with over 12 years of practical and supervisory experience in the construction/carpentry, engineering and forensic industries.  During high school, Brian was an active participant in the Special Needs Program and was a volunteer for respite care at the MacBain Centre.  His passion for helping individuals fulfill their goals and dreams has brought him full circle to complete the journey he began 27 years ago.  Brian currently places candidates for Jobs Niagara in the St. Catharines, Niagara on the Lake and Grimsby areas.  Brian is a graduate of Niagara College’s Educational Assistant-Special Needs Support Program.

Larry Minaker & Gerry Tullio

Untapped Potential

Larry Minaker and Gerry Tullio of Untapped Potential believe in the hidden potential of job seekers with disabilities.  Untapped Potential is a specialized employment support unit within Jobs Niagara that specializes in the job search process for individuals with disabilities who have post-secondary education.  Both Larry and Gerry bring their broad range of knowledge and experience to Untapped Potential having worked in the social services, health and employment/rehabilitation sector for over 35 years.  They have worked with diverse populations including individuals with mental health, addictions, the homeless, immigrants, newcomers to Canada as well as people with disabilities.

Emelia Keay

Job Developer / Employment Consultant

Emelia Keay joined Jobs Niagara in 2018, after 6 years of experience in the customer service field. She is a graduate of the Social Service Worker (SSW) Program at Fanshawe College. Emelia is also a Registered Social Service Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.  Emelia’s passion for helping others has always driven her to do her best to individualize her work with each job seeker. She strives to support each job seeker and promote their skills, strengths and abilities to get the best match between employers and employees.
